How to generate the OpenAI API Key

1. Login to OpenAI Platform (if you don’t have an account, register yourself first).

2. Hover over the lock icon in the left sidebar.

3. Click the “API keys” button.

4. Click the “Create new secret key” button.

5. Enter the key name and click the “Create secret key” button.

6. Your key will be generated and displayed. Click the copy icon, then click the “Done” button.

Done! Now, you can use your OpenAI API key.

What if you miss the OpenAI API key?

The key won’t be able to be viewed again after the generation process. If you lose the secret key, you must generate a new one, repeating the above procedure steps.
